How to install pneumatic pressure fittings
The hose can be easily installed by pushing it to the end of the release loop until it stops. The inner locking claws are automatically secured around the hose for immediate and secure connection. See Figure 1.
How to remove pneumatic pressure fittings
Push the release ring inward toward the fittings to detach the locking claws and pull the pipe back to detach it. The opposite end may be another pressure to connect the joints, threaded males, threaded females or threaded males with an internal hexagonal connection. Threaded joints usually have a pre-applied thread lock. For proper sealing, the pipe must be inserted more completely, as shown in Figure 1 point A. Figure 1 shows point B of a thinning of the pipe, causing a leak in the seal.

Advocators
The biggest advantage of compression fittings is the quick release system, which allows simple and easy installation by hand and eliminates the need for tools and glue. Due to the ease of connecting and disconnecting airlines, it is possible to change airlines frequently at low cost. They are offered in a wide range of pipe sizes, fittings and yarn combinations to suit the desired result. Tameson connections are RoHS compliant.
Negative
Compression fittings require strong pipes with harder walls to withstand internal fork damage. Sturdy pipes will have less flexibility. Therefore, it may not be suitable for systems where the hoses are driven around tight turns. If you want flexible pipes, we recommend using barbed hose fittings instead of pressure fittings. Nylon, polyethylene (PE) or polyurethane (PU) pipe materials are ideal for compression fittings. Also suitable for pneumatic (air) applications. However, it can be used for water applications (see data sheet).
Normal versus unequal connections
Some connections are available in normal or uneven variations. Conventional connections use the same diameter at all inlet and outlet ports, while unequal connections have ports of different diameters (larger or smaller) for connecting hoses of different sizes.
Connection points
Connections can have multiple connection points from one to six connections. All connections have at least one port as pressure connections (except plugs). The way they move in the air (straight, elbow, etc.), normal versus unequal and other connection methods (plugs, threads, etc.) make a difference in their types.
A connection
These connections have a connection port, so they end the airflow.
Plugs and cap fittings
Bifurcated connections and caps are used when the airflow needs to be temporarily cut off or closed. A cap, Figure 2 on the left, is used to terminate a pneumatic hose with a plug connection. A plug, Figure 2 on the right, is used to seal the pneumatic pressure fittings and is installed in the same installation / removal maneuver.

Two connections
The two connectors have a single-pressure type port and a single-threaded secondary port (female or female) or pressure type. Air flows from the inlet to the outlet.
Direct fit
Direct connections Connect a hose in a straight line with a threaded or female secondary inlet. See Figure 3 for an example.
Straight hexagonal connections
Internal hexagonal direct connections have a threaded secondary port and a hexagonal internal connection. Internal hexagonal direct connections have a threaded secondary port for connecting it to a valve and / or component. The inside of the hexagon can be tightened after making a threaded connection, and a hexagonal key can be inserted by the clamping joints to tighten the threads. See Figure 4 for an example.

Elbow
Elbow fittings connect hoses at 90 or 45 degrees to change the direction of airflow. They have a female or female threaded secondary port. Ordinary elbows have the same arms, while long elbows will have a longer arm. See Figure 5 for an example of 90 degree elbow fittings.

Direct union connections
Union direct connections have a pressure type connection at each end to connect two hoses in a straight line. Rugged straight connections have different diameter ports for connecting hoses in different sizes. See Figure 6 for an example.

Union Elbow
The elbow fittings connect the two hoses and have a 90 degree curvature to it. Each port has a push-in connection. See Figure 7 for an example.

Direct connection to electricity
The plug connector connects the hoses in a straight line, so one port uses a push-in connection and the secondary port uses a stem or “plug-in” connection. Typically, the stem is inserted into an existing compression joint. See Figure 8 for an example.

Connect the elbow to the plug
Plug Elbow Connections Connects hoses at 90 degrees using push-button and plug connection ports. See Figure 9 for an example.

Three connections
The three connectors have two push-in ports and one threaded port or the other. These connections can have two inlets and one outlet to increase the pressure, or one inlet and two outlets to reduce the pressure and create two airflows.
Ionic ion connections
Union Tee connections create a “T” connection for connecting three hoses of equal diameter using a pressure type connection on all ports. Unequal Union Tee fittings are also available for connecting smaller diameter hoses to two larger diameter hoses. See Figure 10 for an example.

Y connections
Union Y connections form a “Y” connection to connect three hoses of equal diameter using a pressure type connection on all ports. U-shaped unequal Y fittings are also available for connecting larger diameter hoses to two smaller diameter hoses. See Figure 11 for an example.

Four to six connection points
Compression joints can also have more connection points, but usually no more than 6. Some examples of connections with more connections are two “Y”, three “T” or cross connections. These connections are for specific applications, but can help reduce the overall connection to power one input line and multiple outputs.
Functional compounds
Functional hybrid connections have additional features that may be useful to your application.
Common functional compounds are:
Flow control extinguisher to control the speed of air cylinders by muffling current in one direction and muffling sound
Barometer to read line pressure
Pressure regulator to limit line pressure
Check the valves to ensure one direction
To lock the external control or stop the flow, stop the lock
Criteria for selection of pressure joints
Pneumatic fittings must be included in a system that requires connection hoses. It is recommended to keep things simple to avoid significant pressure drop. For example, do not use a 90-degree elbow if direct connection is possible, as the elbow will reduce unnecessary pressure.
Other considerations include:
Operating pressure: Most connections have a maximum operating pressure of 1.0 MPa, but to ensure safe operation, the pressure must be kept below this level.
Operating temperature : Connections contain O-rings and plastic parts that may become ineffective if hot air is used or the system is in a hot environment.
Special environments : The medical and food industries may require connections with graded or classified materials.
Applications
Compression fittings are used in all types of compressed air systems, but are mostly used in applications with pneumatic cylinders, tools and equipment.
