What is a temperature difference level gauge
Temperature difference level meter is just a monitoring system and not a level measurement system. Uses two temperature detectors (RTD). An RTD measures the temperature of the fluid around the sensor. The second RTD heats up. This provides a temperature difference between the two RTDs. (Level Gauge Sensor)
Temperature difference level gauge
In a liquid level measurement program (level gauge sensor), the thermal conductivity of the liquid above the gaseous layer is greater than that of the liquid. When RTDs interact with the liquid, there is a cooling effect with the heat absorbing fluid from the heated RTD. This reduces the temperature difference between the two RTDs and changes the relay state. When the fluid level below the sensor drops, the temperature differential increases and causes the relay to adjust. It also works in a liquid-liquid interface when the two liquids have different thermal conductivity, such as a tank containing oil and water. This type of level measuring equipment can also be used to monitor the flow of liquid into the tank or from the tank and to start an alarm. This method of controlling the surface of the tank has no moving parts. calibrationA two-stage monitoring probe is required. Accuracy between 0.1 and 5% of full-scale measurements can be achieved.
