Rosemont 3144P Temperature Transmitter
Rosemount 3144P Temperature Transmitter offers high accuracy, stability and reliability – making it the industry temperature converter used in critical and safety control applications. The Rosemount 3144P Temperature Transmitter is available with 4-20 mAh / HART or a true FOUNDATION FOUNDATION protocol. It has the ability to accept single-sensor or dual-sensor inputs. This dual sensor input feature allows the transmitter to accept simultaneous input from two independent sensors, allowing differential temperature measurement, average temperature or incremental temperature measurement.
The Rosemount 3144P temperature transmitter can be adjusted for a variety of sensor inputs: RTD, thermocouple, millivolt or ohm. The HART version of the Rosemount 3144P Temperature Transmitter is approved for use in instrument safety systems. (Valid third-party standards are available for 3144P. Test performed on any IEC 61508 for instrument safety systems).
The transmitter-temperature sensor feature eliminates the switching error, which increases the accuracy by 75%. The Drift Alert sensor allows continuous differential temperature control for both sensors. When a sensor is driven, the differential of the sensors increases. If this difference exceeds the specified limit, the user will be warned of an unreliable measurement. If the primary sensor fails, the Backup measurement feature can reduce the risk of losing important temperature measurements by 80%.
Following the recommendations of NAMUR NE 21, the Rosemount 3144P temperature transmitter ensures superior transmitter performance in harsh EMC environments. In addition, the HART Rosemount 3144P temperature transmitter meets the recommendations of NAMUR NE 43 and NE 89.
High performance and advanced detection available with HART or FOUNDATION field communications. The Rosemont 3144P Temperature Transmitter provides a diagnostic that indicates a continuous measurement status (good, bad or unspecified) as well as a sign of sensor failure. Both transmitters provide performance information to the AMS.
Local markers for temperature measurement and detection provide immediate and accurate confirmation of process conditions. The Rosemount Temperature Transmitter is capable of single-sensor or dual-sensor input. It also allows you to configure differential or medium temperature measurements.
