Supply of equipment for oil, gas and petrochemical industries, import and supply of copper flowmeters
?What is a flowmeter
Today, fluid flow measurement is one of the most important measurement parameters in various industries
In fact, most experts, after measuring temperature, consider the most important quantity in industry to be flow or fluid flow
Due to the importance of measuring this quantity and also the variety of process processes in different industries, over time, different methods for measuring fluid flow have emerged
Choosing the right Flowmeter for any application requires general knowledge of various flowmetric methods and considering the main parameters of measurement such as accuracy, cost, repair and calibration costs, compatibility of Flowmeter performance with the conditions of the production process
What is a copper flowmeter?
Copper Flowmeter Mass Flowmeter is a device that announces the amount of material passing through time.
In most industries, including the oil and petrochemical industries, it is vital to know the exact amount of fluid flowing through fluids such as gas or oil.
Note that the total flow rate, which represents the mass of the consumable material, is used in many cases, such as industrial processes.
Accurate flow measurement is also of particular importance due to financial considerations in the sale and purchase of a certain volume of material and goods such as household gas meters and oil exchanges.
Flow measurement methods by weight are known as mass flowmeters or copper flowmeters.
In the previous conventional methods for measuring the mass of the passing fluid, it was necessary to measure the density of the material, which in practice was very error-free to calculate the mass.
At present, a variety of mass flowmeters with Corylias and copper thermal technologies perform this measurement with high accuracy.
In these flowmeters, the fluid flow can be measured independently of the pressure and protects you from the errors of measuring the gas fluid flow due to changes in temperature and pressure.
How it works
In Coriolis ومتر flowmeters, fluid passes through a U-shaped elastic tube which is vibrated by electromagnetic actuators with a specific frequency and amplitude.
The vibration of this tube is actually a rotational oscillation around the axis shown in the figure above and is like the rotation of a disk on which fluid particles are moving. Therefore, the Coriolis force is applied to the fluid particles in a direction perpendicular to the direction of motion. Due to the fact that the direction of movement of the fluid at the inlet and outlet are also opposite, based on the above relationship, the Coriolis force on the outlet side will be opposite to the direction of the force on the inlet side, resulting in a rotational torque.
As the fluid flow increases, the Coriolis force also increases, eventually increasing the amplitude of the rotational oscillation of the tube. If the maximum amplitude of rotation oscillations of the pipe is measured by displacement sensors, water flow can be obtained by using calibration coefficients.
Important points in selecting and using the Coriolis flowmeter:
1. These flowmeters can be used to measure the flow of liquids, gases and vapors, and changes in fluid density do not affect the accuracy of their measurement.
2. Compression drop in this type of flowmeters is high and must be taken into account when designing.
3. Due to the lack of direct contact between the fluid and the flowmeter components, it can be used for sticky and hygienic corrosive fluids.
4. Due to lack of density sensitivity, it is used for applications where the physical properties of the fluid are unknown or variable.
5. It is better to use Coriolis flowmeters in the upper range of the measuring range.
6. When used to measure the flow of liquids, it should be installed in such a way that it is filled with liquid.
7. In choosing the location and installation conditions, be careful that the vibrations of the piping system can affect the measurement of this flowmeter.
Among the advantages of this product are very high accuracy and direct measurement of the mass of the passing fluid, easy installation and relatively less mechanical wear. Also, these devices do not require special maintenance and special calibration. These devices are used to measure the discharge of corrosive fluids and fluids that have solid suspended particles. |
These flowmeters are more accurate in the case of compressible fluids such as gas due to the direct measurement of fluid mass compared to volumetric flowmeters which calculate mass flow with the help of fluid density, so it is one of the best options for measuring flow. Gas flowmeters are mass.
